Tooth Fairy

I woke up at 7:30 in the morning.
The day had just started and things did not seem so well.
I was right!
There was no water running in the bathroom.
I had to get a bucket of water from the neighboring room. This was probably the first time I had ever spoken with any one of them.
After managing to take care of the basic requirements with the limited quantity of water, I reached college and I was late.
Other than that the college was usual……boring. I had not eaten the entire day; I went to the ‘Rasgulla Shop’, which happens to be right in front of my hostel. I ordered a plate of Puri and Sabji.
While I was eating I felt something really hard between my jaws. There was an artificial human tooth. At first I did not believe myself. I felt disgusted…; lot of thoughts ran through my mind – were they feeding me a human skull? did it belong to one of the cooks and had accidently fallen into the dish…? Or was I dreaming… I was furious; I called the manager and started shouting at him. At first he could not figure out what was happening – a human tooth in Puri Sabji! He was speechless. Suddenly I felt something void, something missing, inside my mouth. I realized the tooth belonged to me.
I had never been so embarrassed in my entire college life till then. The manager started to smile. I left the shop as quickly as possible with my tooth in my pocket.
Later in the evening I got it fixed. When I told the dentist about my situation, he could not control his laughter. I wanted to run away from all this.
It was funny, at the same time it was disgusting.
Tooth fairy had made an appearance again after a long time.
